  many years ago 40 + we had a neighbor ( husband and wife ) the husbands brother was living with them ( Hayden do not remember his last name ) . he tried three times , supposedly over a girl
  1st time the couple came home from shopping the brother had OD'd on drugs they called EMT's saved his live not long after again they returned from a trip into town found him he had cut his wrist again to the hospital and saved him
  third time while they were away he put a shotgun under his chin blew his face completely off ( no mouth eyes nose a couple teeth hanging where his moth once was ) they told me even the paramedics had a tough time dealing with the mess he was in while trying to save him .
  but he lived thru it . I never saw him but per the girl he was in love with she told me it was terrible sight in the hospital
  a few years later I heard he was in some nursing home in Texas ( we lived in Ohio )
