    Bet those pants he is wearing are not cotton. Kevlar or some other form a fire resistant cloth and would bet its layered to keep heat away.

    as a kid I seem to remember the one that was in a James bond ? movie and the hit of TV a short time as the future is here thing
    also that they reported it was a lot of short runs looped together for the movie due to flight time and fuel use was just a few seconds
