Do u give to the Salvation Army
I visit 13 Malls a month and always donate
2.00 at each Mall to the Salvation Army.
Why 2.00?
Mr. Smith was a very bad man and died and tried to get into heaven
St Peter said, I don?t know Mr. Smith I?ll have to ask God about this
God Mr. Smith is at the gate and wants to enter heaven
I know he led a very bad life but he did give a 1.00 to the Salvation Army
GOD: Give Mr. Smith his 1.00 back and tell him to go the HELL!

When I shipped out in 1968...early in the morning, the Salvation Army was there handing out bags of toothpaste and such to all the men...I always throw money into their buckets... 0 -

Salvation army is the best. I used to ring the bell for the kettle at Christmas as a volunteer. They need more volunteers to do this and other things. They help a lot of people and thier staff live very austere lives. The money gets to help those who need it! 0 -

Donated lots of money to the Salvation Army by shopping at their thrift stores.
Last thing I bought was a $8.00 out the door office chair, roller wheels, pneumatic raise/lower, swivel and looked like new, did I mention the corinthian leather?.
Kitchen "stuff" usually sells for scrap price. Need a glass top for a large pan, bet It'll cost $2.00. Lots of other thrift shops within a few miles.

I donated a substantial amount last year and have ben bombarded by begging letters every week since then. They spent a good portion of the donation which would have been better used for services to the less fortunate. Meals on wheels gets the donation this year. 0 -

My wife worked for the SA for years. If everyone could see what we saw.... Not one cent.

I drop a couple bucks in each one during the seasonal collection
however some what local ( Dayton Oh area ) every year for the last 4 or 5 years I know of some one drops a real 1 oz gold coin wrapped in a 100.00 bill into random SA pot it all ways makes the news
maybe a test [:0] for the volunteers
but some one is generous and does not want to be know
and no it not me I could not afford it0
