What a horrendous event. I wonder what legislation Cuomo will introduce to reduce liberty further as a result of this crash? Maximum capacity limits in limos? seat belt usage? He'll have some knee jerk "solution" to this tragedy. 0 -
That's right near where we used to live and we went to the Apple Barrel many times. That curve has always been dangerous but reports are that the driver blew through the stop sign. They need to put a traffic light up where Rte. 30 and 30A meet.
It was actually a 30th birthday celebration, not a wedding party as originally reported. However, the victims included a young couple who just got married in June.

18 pax, X 200 pounds ea. = 3600 Pounds. Extended Body, no upgrade on Brakes, Downhill @60+ MPH... no seatbelts.
Brakes Faded/Failed, I'll bet.
One passenger had texted, just 5+/- minutes before the Crash: "terrible condition..."

4 Sisters and their husbands died in the crash. Limo driver didn't have the correct class license. Limo failed a safety inspection last month. 0 -

Yupper. "Has-him Runoff" is on the scoot. That may not go well for him either as he's reportedly an informant in an investigation of a driver's licensing scheme that allowed illegal driver's permits to be issued.0 -

I am sure a go fund me page will show up for the families and hopfuly they had insurance on ther own as I will bet the limo owner will never pay a dime

I had a buddy his daughter was hit from behind and she was messed up
for life from it .
early next morning after the crash the kid who hit her and his parents all filed bankruptcy to insure there ass would never pay
