Columbus good guys car show

my youngest son and I drove over today ( about a hour and a half from us ) lots of nice cars and a great day to to just walk around the temp and humidity of a few days ago would have made it a miserable day
no pics sorry but span the many years old to new and imagination's of many and deep pocket books as most car shows do
just after we arrived they started singing the national anthem
my son and I took off our ball caps I looked around in the huge crowd did not see a single person who had not removed there hat or had taken a knee .. always makes you feel good to see so many people proud of there country
lots of nice cars and a few I would have loved to brought back home evn some cars I would have like to bring home LOL [}:)][}:)]

short story
in one of the buildings there was the typical super nice big dollar old hot rod coupe ( like blank check type ) two kids went running up to it just as they were about to jump on the running board a older fellow ( OK about my age [:I] ) shouted you kids stop right there do not get on or in the car ....
about that time a obvious do not give a crap mom yelled thoes are my kids you have no right to shout or tell them what to do [:0][:0]
the fellow was nice said they may be your kids but thats my car with a lot of $$ and time invested and your kids were just about to jump in I just saw them do the same to another show car
she became mad he would have the balls to tell her kids to stop
he also comment not the kids its the parents fault for not teaching respect for other peoples property [:D][:D][:D]
she called the kids and took off ( I would guess the kids were about 6 to 8 years old )
we talked with the car owner super nice fellow and was even nice to the gal with the kids but she would none of it
