    If you have ever held one, the first word to come to your mind is, "Cute". This is a cute little gun!
    The price is very close to the value of these little guns. Especially one that appears so clean. They are a hard find and they have a strong yet very small following! Unfortunately, i believe the following is getting smaller, year by year.
    The Model 90 Marlin was also made in standard and deluxe along with the "Skeet King" in 410 and 20ga, 16ga, 12ga, and various combinations such as 22 over 410, 22 Hornet over 410, 218 Bee over 410, 30-30 over 410, etc....
    They are very cool and classic american guns.

    VERY TRUE statement about the following of such firearms. The classic crowd is getting smaller and smaller. And bluntly, passing away. At my fav gunshop, he has his son getting ready to take the reins and as he stated, the generation like HIS could care less about guns like that and my generation is passing away. I would not "invest" in classic firearms now because of that.

    There are still plenty of us "youngins" that enjoy the classics like that, the problem is most of us are raising families, or starting business's and simply can't afford em. All of my shooting buddies have pistols like Glock, XD's, ect. But you should see them drool when I bring out my P08 Luger.
    A $500 pistol is easier to buy than a $2,000 one. Especially when you don"t "need" the $2,000 one.

    Really? Wow, I'd like to see that! Marlin did a bunch of experimenting with the 90's. Some catalogued and some not. I do know some were "custom" made by Marlin in house gun builders and some were "modified" outside the factory. I have a 30-30/410 Model 90 and Marlin shows no records of making that particular combination in anything I've read. So, I would certainly believe the 30-30 O/U model 90.
    Any chance of you emailing a link to that auction house?
