Ruger Bearcat 22LR ?

Can you buy a 22 magnum cylinder for it?

I picked one up friday and i was wondering if i could get an extra cylinder for it.

I love that it is smaller than my single six.

  no there where a few made way back in the early days with 22 mag. cylinders but Ruger discontinued them real early and I think even had a buy back or recall on the twin cylinder ones ,, you could go the custom route but you're talking pretty good money going that way

  I recall something about flame cutting of the frame. The current frame is too short for a magnum cylinder.
  This double posting is getting ridiculous. This time it triple posted.

  I have a Ruger Single Six that has 2 cylinders for it. It shoots 22lr and magnum fine.

  true but the Single Six is a fair amount larger than a Bear Cat

  I have always wanted a Ruger Bearcat, but they are always about $150.00 more than a Ruger Single Six both new and used.
