I don't agree with this
Sorry, but this hacks me off. If a gun has been sold before, it's not new. I don't care how nice it is, how clean it is, how little it was shot. If it's been sold before, it's not "factory new." "Factory new" means it has left the factory, gone to a gun store, and nobody has ever purchased it before. If somebody has purchased it, it's a used gun.

I agree
but I see the flip side how do you describe a gun thats like new but never been fired or used . think about it every gun bought is used it was sold to a dealer or a whole seller then the dealer so its been sold and there for used if you look at it as being owned already
funny story when I was a kid a local westerauto sold slot cars which at the time were a huge hobby I would hate to guess how many they sold even I bought a few dozen over time
years later I got to know the owners sons ( they were about 5 years older than I ) they told me every time they got a new shipment in they would run /race and pick out the fastest but all were raced on there track ( had a huge factory aurora track set up ) then put back in the show case to sell as new [:(][B)][B)][B)]
I guess who is to say a gun shop owner manager does not "try out" a gun and back on the shelf as new [:D][:D]0 -
I agree, he could list it as unfired, or like new, but not new. When cabelas gets back a banquet gun from a lucky winner, who wants maybe a different caliber, it has to be sold as used, even if it was purchased for the banquet from Cabelas. 0 -
