I bought one of the Taurus Stainless Steel Model 72's in .17 HMR. The cute little carbine model. I loved it, but they went up in price so fast I sold it for over 3 times what I paid for it within a year.
I Have a Marlin M39 Century model with some fire damage. Metal is OK but needs refinishing. I have the new wood fit and nearly ready to finish. Octagon barrel Carbine with medallion in receiver and brass plaque on stock. I sold one I had years ago to a guy at work that just couldn't live without it. Bought the one I have as a project gun and shooter. Rotton health has put me down hard and I need to force myself to get back at this rifle somehow.
I love those .22 RF lever guns and you have a nice rack of them - envy is I hope acceptable here. (If you feel your girl friends rack looks better feel free to PM me a picture [:p])
PS: And yes the M72 is a pump but still has that exposed hammer classic feel.0 -
