    Hawaiians have the edge, they grow up eating a LOT of Spam.....makes for good young ballplayers and later in life it makes for fat adults [;)]

    Who would have thought that a pitcher who in the 10 innings prior to the game had struck out 25 batters has self destructed along with his team making multiple errors? Strang, but good for Hawaii!

    Congratulations to the Hawaiian team and their superb pitcher named Holt, in their 3-0 World championship win! Korea was never really in it, and appeared to be looking for walks, the way they crowded the plate.

    If you can't hit, walking is about the only way left to get on base, enough walks and the game becomes a different story with speedy base runners [;)]

    You are right!

    The coach has all of the players with their toes on the line. The Hawaii pitcher was deadly accurate on th inside edge of the plate. No way the batters could get the barrel of the bat on The ball. Coaches fault. Teams were 29 and 1 prior to game time. Incredible accurate pitching on behalf of the winners, and a very poor pitching performance for Korea's ace did it. Still a great game.

    The Korean coach lost that game, not the players, as you said the batters were misplaced in the box leaving nothing decent to swing at......bad strategy [V], should have let the boys continue with what got them there and I'm pretty sure walks didn't get them that deep in the series. [;)] Oh well, there will always be next year for my Georgia boys [:D]
