LB White Ventless Heater
Is this a bad idea for a garage?
No vent. Made for hog confinement buildings. I know a couple that are used in shops.
I'm thinking about 40 degrees for the garage and occasionally turn it up if I am out there. Put a Carbon monoxide in the garage and another in the laundry room on the other side of the wall.

We have a 20,000 btu unvented propane heater in our living room.
Sounds stupid I guess, we have had it for 22 years. Blue flame heater.
I have two CO detectors and have tested the air in that room for hundreds of hours, never even measures a 001.
I know the thing has to put out some CO but doesn't put out much.0 -

Should work fine the way you are planning to use it have run the same setup for many years my brother works at a large ag supply house that sells these. Easy to work on 0 -

i put a 75,000btu hot dawg heater in the garage last year. cold test two cars in garage 32degrees 45 min i was in a t shirt no insulation bare cinder walls 10ft ceiling..just in case i need to fix truck or snowblower in winter hands cant take the cold any more[^] 0 -
got a 28K ventless propane NIB for over 10 years at the lake place..can't get the guts to hook it up....decided safety first and i still remember grandma have an open flame NG one in her house in town in the 1940's.....???? 0 -
Had similar concerns for ventless fireplace in living room. The new Carbon dioxide detectors are inexpensive and last for 10 years. Plug one in near your work area to be certain. 0 -

Agree 110%. If your going to put a heater in there, go vented. Why risk it.0
