I hope you get some answers here, Wrangler. I believe that the two terms are not exactly the same and shouldn't be interchanged. 0 -

I can clear it up for you. Soc1alism is a belief system, communism is soc1alism that has incorporated a central governing system. As such any politician advocating for soc1alism is by definition advocating for communism since the government would shove soc1alist agenda down our throats.
Given the above definitions (look them up if you don't believe me, although the communists have probably changed it by now), a while back I suggested that this site should automatically convert soc1alism to communism and CaptFun liked the idea, so he did it.0 -
I think Wrangler is asking why the Auto Nanny software does not like, and changes the term. Not the dictionary entry.
There is a nationwide "for sale" website called c r a I g s l I s t. Part of that phrase is in the word you posted.

The word changes was the main reason I stopped being a moderator. I do not agree with several of the auto-nanny changes and can't see why changing well understood phrases and words makes our forum or GB Holdings, Inc. better. 0 -
