Met the new doctor yesterday......

Got to meet the new doctor that will be over seeing what is going to be going on with me.
A super nice lady.
So yesterday was to check me out. She insisted that I get the flu and pneumonia shots. Said last thing you want is to get either and be coughing out your stiches. Then she said, "You know this is a very unhealthy place, there are sick people in here."
Nov. 1st. a CT scan, EKG, blood panels and etc.
Nov.9th. pre-surgery meeting and setting the date.
I am working on keeping a positive out look. So far my doctors tell me that I will be just fine and be back at what I do.
This is just a bad time all a round, but right now is the peck of the gunsmithing work and running the gun sales at the store. Gonna' screw up the cash flow.
Boss at the store said ain't no deer hunting for you this year. The heck you say......... my wife is going to put my bed by the window, a couple of sand bags and a super accurate .308 with a can. I'll just call her when I shoot one and she can drag it home........

    You're a lucky man. I had a hard enough time getting my ex-wives to even cook venison, yet alone drag it in for me. Maybe that's why thy're all ex's.

    After radiation treatment and chemotherapy your immune system will be shot - and you will not be able to take any vaccines - especially live cell variants.

    I married a fram girl.
    She won't shoot the deer, but she rolls up her sleeves and gets right in there with the butchering of not just the deer but also when she and one of her sisters raise rabbits or chickens for the freezers.
    She will turn her head when we chop off the chickens head, but then grab it and go to town with cleaning it. She also is a decent cook, makes awesome chocolate chip cookies, owns an AR, a Colt Gold Cup, a Remington 11/87 and a few others. Her down fall? I've never been able to teach here how to drive stick. She can do it on a tractor, but not in the truck on the road. Ahhh......... After 31 years, I guess I can over look it and keep her around. I have too. Don't think there is another woman who would want me.
