No it is not. Do a search for them and you will see the phishing scam goes deeper using a reputable accounting firm name as a credit fixing company scam so they can harvest you info.
I asked in the other topic, what info did they provide of yours that would not be public knowledge? Did they have your bank account number? Did you walk the letter to the bank?0 -
I just unlocked all three credit bureaus today. Equifax & Experian were relatively easy. The people at Transunion were jerks. 0 -
If you want to freeze/unfreeze your credit file, you can do all three online for free.

I wasn't even sure I had locked all three.
Equifax asked me a bunch of questions from my credit report & then sent me an e-mail with the long series of numbers I needed to unlock the account.
Experian was relatively similar.
Transunion people were jerks. They had only three questions. The first was who I financed my last car purchase with & they had a list of names.
I had no idea since I only took the finance deal because I got a discount on the car for doing so & paid it off quickly. One of the names was the make of the car so I guessed that & it was correct.
The second question was about a street I had lived on. That was easy.
The third was impossible. They asked about a credit card I took out in 2015 & wanted to know the limit on it. I tried three times with three different people & they wouldn't change the question & apparently I guessed wrong each time.
I later accidently discovered the code I needed & then it was easy.
So now I am approved for a new card that will pay me $150 if I charge
$500 in the next three months. Stupid people have given me credit cards for over ten times my annual earnings. I charge all I can, pay them off each month & collect the rebates which really add up.0 -
