Discover card guy is STILL a thorn in my side

I swear.....if any of you want my blocked bidder list, you are welcome to it. I don't block someone unless they are TOTALLY not worth dealing with. (This guy would be double blocked if there were such a thing.)


This all started with him wanting to pay with a Discover card. I don't take them....all payment options are plainly listed in the auction.

Then, this guy wanted to "pay the fees" and not complete the transaction.....this is a HUGE pet peeve of mine, never ever EVER let someone pay the fees to get out of a sale. They are a waste of time and need to be labeled such on the GB system.

Finally, he decided to pay for the item. This is when the emails about shipping started. My shipping days are Tuesday and Friday. He wanted us to ship it the day he paid and OVERNIGHT it to his dealer......no, I'm too busy to stop and deal with that sort of mess.

Finally....he gets the gun. I knew.....KNEW....I'd hear from the guy. Who didn't think I would??? He emails me asking where the extra chokes were? I said the pictures show, and it clearly states in the description, everything that is included in the auction. (No extra chokes listed or shown in the pics.)

He then wants me to pay for a cold blue kit....which is $27 from whatever website link he sent to me. I tell him NO. He says I didn't describe the spots. I point out that in picture 41 the insignificant spots he is complaining about are clearly shown.


I swear.....I deal with thousands of people and none of them are as unstable as this guy. If he shops anywhere without drama ensuing I'd be shocked.

    Kasey, I have seen how you bend over backwards for some folks so when you refuse to bend, there has been some serious she ite that went down. Stick to your guns and sick don on him if necessary.

    Then there are guys like me. Paid by credit card and the FFL e-mailed his stuff by 9am the morning after the auction closed. Seller had the label printed that day and the gun left the next. I just picked it up and it looks better than the pictures (which did show the flaws) looked.

    IF I'm ever a PITA, you can believe something is really wrong.

    I only use Discover for whatever they have the 5% rebate on at the time. Right now it is restaurants & that works fine for me. There do seem to be more places that won't take it. Visa for gas (3.3%, & grocery stores 2.2%) & Citi card (2%) for everything else. It really adds up. It used to be the float was of value also but that was when I got a useful interest on my checking account.
