I wish you had a piece of saran wrap to cover your pepper on the plate.

My experience without a cover has been an explosive mess on every wall of a micro wave oven![B)]

I covered it a paper towel. It really was delicious and moist. A Walmart bag works too.

I'm thoroughly enjoying my mess of Stuffed Green Peppers. Two last evening for dinner. Have the Pyrex baking dish coming up to temp (slowly) 275* for 35-40 minutes. (Another 6 halves in there.)

Have been monitoring the Crock pot Green Peppers also. 12 halves in two layers there. Can place them in the Pyrex dish to Brown the top of them when needed. Mmmmnnnn.........mmmmnnnn.......... good stuff. [:D]

I did not incorporate any Cheese into the mix, as of yet. I have some fine shredded sharp cheddar cheese in the fridge. I may have to try it on some of them. Sounds intriguing. (Actually sounds quite good.) Always like learning new culinary secrets and techniques. Thanks for the suggestion.

Microwave ovens were invented for lazy people, haven't been w/o one since 1971 when I bought an Amana Radar Range. Best and cheapest coffee warmer made.

An old Ordnance chief named Charlie Kennard paid me one of the greatest compliments I ever had.
He walked into the shop and saw me working on something, I don't remember what. He said "Carter, if we ever go to war, I want you with me". My Rube Goldberg junk works.[:p][8D]
