Time to eat some Rib Roast

Spent some year end bonus on meat. Safeway had a sale on them for $5.99 a pound then later I saw Lucky had them for $4.99 (DOH!!![}:)]). I took off the ribs and froze it for another recipe (Pho stock?) salted and peppered it and left it out over night. One I forgot and went to bed and I figure it needed to be room temp so few extra hours ain't gonna mean squat.

Did the 4 minuets a pound at Broil since it's lacking the ribs. It's been in the don't open for two hours and I'm about an hour over due for munching. So I best get to it. Got some garlic mashed 'taters with sour cream and ranch with a stick of butter. I think 3? pounds of spuds? Meat and fat potatoes.

    Did the same thing. Bought one last week "on sale" so that I would have it on hand when I needed it. This week every store in town has rib roasts on sale for less. Will cook on high heat also.

    She came out great but I have no flour to make the gravy [V]. Well actually that's not true. I have flour but it's kind a buggy. Remember "Raiders" where the floor was moving? It was like that. Since I was already planning to stay in I started on the beers. Yes normal people have beers at 0800 in the morning [:D].

    Saved the meat juice so I'll make the gravy tomorrow for the left, left overs.

    We always have prime rib at Christmas. Got one Friday at our favorite meat market, 12 lbs. and over $100. No sales here.

    I bought 4 this morning and put them in the freezer. At 4.99 lb regular 12.99 lb you can?t turn them down.
