Favorite wine? If any

I like a good Moscato, with dinner.

I had a Blueberry version the other day I could drink a whole bottle of that stuff.

I really don't care for dry wines and prefer semi sweet or sweet.

Not a fan of the Muscadine or Scuppernog though.

Wife likes em so dry they suck the moisture right out of your mouth.

    I like Menage a Trois (a dry red) and just opened a bottle of Menage a Trois Midnight - a very dark red. I like that one a LOT. Lot of black cherry notes and very smooth.

    +1 on the Moscato. But it has to be Italian. California not as good.

    Just something to think on Calif and Oregon most of the wine makers increase the sugar content.

    Adding more of those reactant sugars prior to fermentation will increase the final alcohol content, simply because there will be proportionally more product.

    To me it takes away from the wine. Easier to get drunk. But I no longer drink to get drunk. I have to like what I'm drinking.

    Gew?rztraminer is probably my favorite, but I'll drink just about any kind of real wine. Zinfandel is in the reefer, cabernet sauvignon ris in the cabinet, Sangria and homemade is in the shop.
