Prayers for Nunn He's in the hospital Appendix

Locust Fork
He had to go to the hospital and ended up having an emergency appendix removal. He is very sore and will be in the hospital for a few days.

    Tell me about it cause I was in the Hospital for over 2 weeks. Plus his scar will be so small that it will be had to see. Not like they did it in the 60's mine is about 5" long.


    Most kids that I see that have this are in and out in a day. So Age means they take a little more time.

    PS If I survived you will have no Problem.

    I just read on FB that Nunn is being discharged and will be home soon. I hope his ride is free of potholes and his dogs don't lick him so much he ends up back in the hospital.

    I'm home, thank God! Six days in the hospital was enough. I don't have a traditional scar or a laparoscopic scar. Apparently, the appendix isn't always in the same place in all people. Doc said it took him a half hour of digging through my innards to find it.

    I have a mid-line vertical incision, held together with staples, about 10" long. It looks like I either tried to deliver a baby by C-section, or maybe someone was trying to gut me like a catfish.

    Sore, but glad to be home. It'll take me a while to get caught up.

    My wife had a similar ordeal, when she had an appendectomy. Her appendix was about 2 inches from where it normally is, which as you know, is quite a bit.

    Glad you are doing well and are on the mend. Here's to a quick and full recovery! [:)]

    A doctor was discussing surgery on different patients. He said that Germans were easy as every thing was in the exact place the test book said. The English were easy also as everything is the exact color as in the text books. But the easiest people to operate on are liberal democrats. They only have 2 moving parts; their mouths & their arse holes & both of those are interchangeable.
