1-PSA ARs are crap
2- Nikon scopes are crap
3-Anything in 40 S&W is crap.
Maybe I have been lucky,but I have never had a problem with any of them.

After I got my drivers license, I would go hang out in gun and pawn shops.
There weren't many gun books in those days, just Shooting Times ad G&A.
Most of the info I learned from the "experts".
One day one of the experts was telling me that the M1 would shoot German Mauser ammo. The Japanese copied the US idea and their rifles would shoot US 30-06 ammo, sneaky devils that they were!
While I would take everything in people told me, even at 16 I knew this guy was FOS. Pop and most of his friends were combat infantrymen I had talked with about the weapons they carried and faced.
I found this guy had never served in WWII or Korea, so his stock went down PDQ.
As a customer, everything else I heard was pretty much in the ballpark.
Once I became a seller in the gun business, that's when deer were being routinely taken with a 30-30 at 500 yards. [:p][;)]0 -

There are quite a few gun snobs, especially when it comes to PSA and FB. The Aero precision fans in particular love to trash PSA. I've noticed the same with .40 S&W bashers, most have envy because the only caliber they know is 9mm. I say embrace all the pistol calibers. 0 -

Never heard anything but positives of PSA and Nikon scopes from people at ranges that own and use them.
Have heard gun store owners critical of PSA because they as a low price competitor take business away...but they do benefit from many transfer fees. The same people bitch about GB.
At least my experience at the range, gun shows, and stores, most conversations seem to center around or at least touch up on politics and the DEMOCRAT party that wants and end it all.0 -

Last time I was at one I asked how to fix my Ar. The Idiot told me to take a hammer to it to adjust the front site.
Sent it back to Bushmaster and they fixed it Barrel was over tightened.0 -
Well, I am in my 60s and about 4 weeks ago, my fav shop had a Beretta 1934 military issue and I was looking at it. Took it back behind the counter to get some light on it. (I can go behind counter cause I am special there)[:I]. Well up pipes a guy maybe couple years older than me and I quote, " You don't know what you got there sonny" ? Ok, no I don't--That there is a German made early WW-2 pistol like a p-38 and you probably don't know what they are either!?

Oh the things one hears from the "pros" in the gun shop.......
Can't use LEE reloading dies, they bend the bullets....
Get yourself a .300 Weatherby Magnum, a pretty gun and you can shoot .300 Winchester in it, save money on ammo.......
Zeroed at 100 yards, a 30-06 with a 180 grain bullets drops 14 feet at 400 yards, but the .300 WSM, zeroed at 100 will drop 4 inches at 400 yards........ the clerk behind the counter say to the guy that maybe he was mistaken in the amount of drop.....customer called him a dump sob and said that he must have never deer hunted and that he won't buy a gun from some place that didn't hire real hunters. He left and the clerk said well I guess I don't know that much, only have killed whitetail with .308 Winchester.
My favorite............guy is talking to the clerk about scopes. Says he wants to trade back his Leupold 6.5X20 VariX3. Clerk says why? Guy says that the cross hair cover the coyote at 500 yards. OK...Me being a 'yote caller / whacker, I ask where are you hunting coyotes at 500 yards? Oh around the edge of town......... Around here, other than the airport, I'd like to find a clear field of fire 500 yards..........
Oh, oh.............my other favorite I heard years ago.... That Ruger 22 pistol was made to look like a Luger and the guy who made it changed his name to get more sales..........0 -

I politely smile and say, "you should learn a little about guns before you make such blatantly stupid statements........If you worked for me, I'd fire your ass for being rude and stupid.......I have 2 Winchester 9mm shotguns and a Bernardelli pistol. I also saw advertisements and read about the Bernardelli 9mm shotgun just recently."
Just because a guy works at a gunship doesn't mean he knows everything.

Heard in a Dick's long time ago, as I haven't been in one since, you know. Two guys talking about shotguns, one said "I wouldn't have a Mossberg, piece of shat junk". Yeah?, they only passed making TEN MILLION of them several years ago and still making them today.

The Bernardelli semi auto is a gas to shoot! Too bad the rimfire is so dirty, needs to be cleaned after every 8-10 shots!!0 -
Had a GS owner tell me if I wanted to turn my Blackhawk 45 Colt into a real magnum to just shoot 44 magnum in it.
IIRC, this was the same guy that shot himself in the ass with a S&W Mod 27.0 -

Static electricity CAN ignite it. We NEVER move ammunition during thunderstorms either. Lightening is just big static electricity. First thing you do to an aircraft in the dearming area is chock it and ground it to drain the static.
Rub a wool sweater fifty times and then stick a finger in a pile of BP to the ground. [:p] That is rocket science. [}:)]0
