    I watched enough of the video to determine that our chosen expert is wrong, and then quit.

    1911 = Single action. Gun only fires one way, from cocked hammer.

    Traditional double action = Double action. Gun fires two ways, from hammer cocked or hammer down.

    Double action only (DAO): SINGLE action. Gun fires only one way, from hammer down.

    Glock and other semi-cocked striker fired pistols = Single action, since they too, only fire one way.
