I saw that game on TV. I knew he was a crotchety old man, but I never expected that out of him. It's hard to believe that it was that long ago.

If the Clemson player had not caught the football Woody would have had no reason to hit him. I believe that is what happened to put him over the edge, could be wrong about the player catching the ball that was a long time ago. He just made himself an early exit. He would have been out soon anyway. OSU program was on the decline. No place for this type of behavior in sports.

I was watching the game at my Aunt Mildred's house in Omaha. She was a big college football fan who liked to knit or crochet while watching the game. She was so startled she almost dropped her knitting.
I have her nickeled Iver Johnson hammerless .32 she kept in the nightstand by her bed. I don't think it has ever been fired.

They may own them again. Clemson looked really good against Notre Dame. Trevor Lawrence is a great QB.
