Recently a several customers were talking at the gun counter about this year and all the various problems when one said, " Steven King could not write a novel as up as this year is."

    I think we better prepare for the worst in the coming year. Hope for the best but prepare for the worst.

    What do you think an adjustable wrench, a Crescent wrench, would be worth if there were none to buy??

    I have older Craftsman adjustables that are metric on on side and SAE on the other.

    Maybe it is that way so fereniers can use the tools. Kinda like buying something and the instruction book is 1/2 inch thick with only one page in English.


    On another note, ya'll have heard of about a left handed monkey wrench. They are/were real.

    My now retired plumber of close to 80 years old used one when he was just beginning plumbing.

    Think how the screw works on a right handed one and then how it turns when you switch hands.

    Thumb moves in opposite direction to operate the jaw.

    Left hand wrench turns the same way, up is out on both left and right hand.

    We called it Electrician’s socket set.

    I inherited my grandfathers socket set. It actually came with sockets for three or four sizes of square nuts.
