Cleaning house again. Found my grandfather's war rations book with stamps.
Kind of surprised we don't have Covid Rations.

Interesting pieces. Going to look in my curio and I think I have a couple. Brings real meaning to what was and could be. Could you imagine TODAY what would happen. We have fallen a few notches of doing without.

i have a small stack of that stuff found at garage sales have a stack of magazines from the war years

I found a ton of these in an old house on the farm many years ago . Sadly over the years they disappeared during one of Moms cleanup days . Too bad as they err in as new condition

Is correct todays adults only know stuff that happens on the cell phones. They panic when the power goes. lololol
let alone have to wait till they have enough stamps to get sugar or meat.
