Christmas eve oysters.
a good Christmas eve other than the previous rant. my newest son in law is a professional oyster shucker and chef. Brought over a sack of oysters from St. Bernard Parish, La. Family and a couple of good friends by. we ate many raw and quite quite a few grilled on the half shell with fresh garlic, butter and parmesan/romano cheese topping. life been good to me so far.

Italian tradition here. We're about to have linguini and seven fishes (although she could only find five, this being Utah.)

Fresh Oyster Shots
Shot glass
Place fresh shucked oyster in the bottom of the glass.
Teaspoon of Cocktail Sauce on top.
1/2 teaspoon Freshly Made Horseradish.
Dash of Hot Sauce.
Bass Ale to top off glass.
Shoot, chew, swallow. YUM!
