Lost one of my Nephews this past week.
My nephew Ryan committed suicide this past Sunday he was around 39 years old. Not exactly sure how old he was as there's about 25 nieces and nephews and it's hard to keep count. On the other hand I have been contacted by the family to sell off his gun collection. I was told there were many many guns. Well the actual amount of many guns to some people differ in total. I went over to my sister in laws house this past Wednesday and I was pretty surprised at what was there. I didn't bring everything home yet as there were some questions in regards to the hand guns and the AK pistol. Some of the family members may want something. His father was a former Kilwaukee Sheriff and I know his duty pistol is there. They think there are more guns they haven't found yet. I can attest to that as I have a loaded Springfield Armory 45 mag loaded but there was no gun. There definitely was some high end exotic stuff that I brought home. Know I'm waiting to get the go ahead to sell them and the status of the hand guns. I also have to go back and pick up more mags & ammo. I'll try and sell some of them locally as the shipping prices on some would be through the roof. I plan on selling some here on GB just waiting for the go ahead.

There is an increase in suicides at holiday time. Sorry for your family's loss. Wish he would have found another way to deal with what ever demons he was fighting.

I'm so sorry....it has to be one of the worst things imaginable to have a family member commit suicide and I'm sure there is a lot of looking back and wondering what might could have been done to change the outcome. I've read several times that if someone is leaning toward ending their life its not typically something that can be stopped by the people around them. Your family is lucky to have someone they trust to help them in this stressful time.
