That would be good on a nice warm cherry pop tart.

We use jalapeños in a medium, habaneros in a hot, and a mix of jalapeños, habaneros, and scorpions in a super hot version.

I like any version without cilantro, which tastes like Ivory soap to me.

Some people have a genetic trait that causes them to taste soap when they eat cilantro.

I think he pulled too many G's...too often!!! 😁

Nope, but I do have the gene that transforms cilantro into soap. So does my wife, luckily, so we can both avoid the stuff.

(Pulling Gs will give you 'roids or a hernia - or both - with the certainty of sunrise. Hernia for me. But it doesn't affect the tastebuds.)

It was one of those weekends where a buddy decided to smoke a pork butt Friday. No BBQ sauce this time, just smoked and pulled. We invited a few friends over to socially distance while feeding our faces. I did a variation on 'jimdeere's' recipe above substituting yellow onions for white and smoked Hatch peppers for the Serrano. I thought I had made a sizeable batch but the bowl was licked clean by the end of the night. It worked well with the pulled pork. The homemade tortillas one of the guys brought were a big hit also. 😁

    Best.
