How much is one of these worth and can you get ammo?

The last place I seen 32 rimfire was from Old Western Scournger and that was years ago

.32 r.f. hasn't been made for a bunch of years, if you want a 'shooter' you can have it changed to center fire and shoot .32 colt (short or long) but these are hard to find also so you can then have it rechambered to .32 S&W.

I thought I was the only one that remembers CIL ammo. Still have a few boxes of 7x57 and 300 savage. I had to check and it looks like they stopped making ammo in 1976.

Now and then you see auctions for the stuff that Navy Arms had made in Brazil 2 or 3 decades ago. It seems go for around $100 - $150 a box.

Makes me wonder why someone like Aguila hasn't put the .32 Rimfire into production. At one time around the turn of the last century, every gun maker chambered a pistol and/or rifle for it. Commercial ammo production ended in the mid 1930's, and as a result, I see many of these single shots in excellent condition having been rarely shot. With the successful and profitable runs of .22WRF and 5mm Remington, hopefully they'll see this as another opportunity.

There's no converting it to centerfire. The barrel is only retained by a bolt underneath the receiver. Someone was selling a .25 they had wanted to reline to .22 Magnum. I am guessing their gunsmith told them, if you have a jacketed bullet pushing forward on the rifling with every shot, you'll soon ruin your barrel retaining bolt.

The barrel is only retained by a bolt underneath the receiver."..............while I can't say I've worked on the H&A, I did convert several stevens 'favorites' to both .32 and .22 mag. these are not high pressure rounds. I've currently got a favorite 2 barrel set in .32 colt and .32 s&w.
