Time for a change
Anyone here think that Trump could make a third party viable? Libertarian, Constitution, etc. Force at least a modicum of compromise to form a government.

Trump doesn’t know much about Liberty or the Constitution, so no. His only path was to hijack the GOP. Hopefully some of the changes he made to the party will stick.

I agree that he isn't a constitutional scholar. He has on the other hand galvanized a large portion of the population.
I guess you could say on both sides.😉 Apparently, at one time he had Democratic party leanings. Perhaps there
are still some old school Democrats that are as sick of these endless wars and the corruption of the ruling class as most of his present followers are.

He couldn't make one of the two parties work for his re-election in 2020. What makes you think a third party attempt will have a greater success?
