Interesting enough I started a thread on price gouging where Guns and Gagets had reported the Texas AG's action against CTD and the forum admins killed it.

Score! That’s more than a C-note at today’s crazy prices.

Been cleaning and organizing the ready room. Found several thousand slightly used primers.

Might put them on the auction side, Ought to be worth 30.00 per thousand, that is 1/3 what they are selling for new.

I bought AR-15 rifles last year when the prices were in the dumps. I have bought ammo when prices were down for a long time. I gave my next door neighbor a 240 round sealed spam can of good Greek 30/06 for his son's Garand this morning. I bought a bunch of that maybe 20 years ago when it was cheap. I did buy a few boxes of 9 mm 124+P Gold Dots a couple months ago and paid, I think $35.00 per 50 round box cause I have never used 9mm as a defense round but I might want to use my PPQ. Now is a bad time to buy ammo but if you must then yup, you will probably have to pay a premium. I have maybe 6 more battle packs of .308 and no .308 rifle. I have been offered $1.50 per round locally. Now is probably a good time to sell excess ammo and guns. At last count I had 37 ammo cans at home. I can see four in the corner from my desk and there are a few more in the outer office filled with .45 acp and 9mm ball. I am a fat old man, how many bullets and guns do I need??

Refrigerant gas must be removed from junked refrigerators and freezers by a qualified technician. Small children have died because the crawled into and old refrigerator/freezer and couldn’t get out.

I was Chief of a small town volunteer fire department. We would pick up unused refers from citizens and haul them off for safety reasons. When the refrigerant recovery regulations went in, we had to stop doing so.

Not one made in the last 50 years. They took the locking handles off a long time ago. You can't get locked in the trunk of your car anymore either unless you are really drunk.

On another note, it’s a dang shame you can’t just go to the store and buy whatever powder and primers you need as you need them.

I took about 70LBs of ammo to Kasey's for her to sell about two weeks ago :)

I have enough ammo I think. I store it in ammo cans and some just sitting on the bookcase. If my apt building catches on fire, I will be screwed. just hoping that the guns in the safes survive.

But, does anybody have any .458 SOCOM for sale?

I'm sitting pretty on all types of ammo and reloading material needs, got all I'll ever need and enough for immediate family members too. I saw this shortage coming a long while back and stocked up a little along the way at very good prices. I'm really surprised at how many had their heads buried in the sand not seeing it coming again after the last supply shortage a few years back.......I learned my lesson well back then, not to become complacent, you never know.

I had been stocking up the last 3 years myself

I cant hardly believe it but the Smith 642 Airweight has doubled in price from when I last bought one. Its getting to the point where it is almost foolish not to cash in a few money makers.

Waiting until a crisis point to stock up on anything is a bad decision.

Went to local LGS for a look see.

I mentioned I had some .45 I might let go.

Instant bid war from the coffee crew.

    It's insane around here.

You still haven't read the rules have ya.......🙄................😀

Half true have been posting on forums on a variety of Subject based forums for more than two decades and they have mostly the same rules with some exceptions so if I fan afoul of something I am surprised. However I'm still of the mind that censorship is censorship whether it's Gunbroker or Silicon Valley and therefore suspicious of anyone who feels there are things that are just too dangerous to talk about.
