We just got it about a month ago. I’m still trying to figure it out.

    Same here.

I use their dish as a target stand - works pretty good.

    And that is my recommendation.

go into DVR and at the top you can "manage" the record timers. You can remove a program's timer there.

Go to "menu" and then go to DISH ON DEMAND (9) AND proceed from there. You can delete, program from there.

    Unplug it.

Do the unplug permanently and go to antenna TV.

Take the money that you will be saving and look at the GB gun auction site.

Quit wasting your money, get Whisky, guns, shells, and then enjoy yourself.

Dish sucks and the longer you have it the more it sucks.

One of the few blessings an old guy can have is to be able to watch reruns of The Rifleman, Wagon Train, Bonanza, Gunsmoke, Wanted Dead Or Alive, and Rawhide, without knowing or caring that you have seen these same episodes umteen dozen times already!

The good part is that there is no monthly bill you have to pay! šŸ˜‹

Dennis the Menance (I know him as a grown up, I think he is my neighbor but he lives over a mile away, thank god)

If you have a DVD player you can watch those forever by buying the seasons on DVD.

Don't have dish or cable. Direct TV ha sent me enough fliers to give me free TV for years to come.

Get about 15 channels on old outdated antenna.

Long as I get Grit, (John Wayne), Hero, (Star Trek), and the wife gets Starzz(Closer) all is good. We do have Netflix for never ending Longmire. CRS has it's blessing.

we would call and want to cancel they would always come up with some great 1/2 price deal or extras to keep us

    last time we said no

I suggest they allow me to pick and choose what channels I wanted not some "package deal with 90% garbage channels leftest one sided news and non English speaking channels along with the ethnic channels directed at specific markets

that was 4 or 5 months ago do not miss any of it , not to mention every time the weather got a bit off from a nice sunny day it went out
