Shaba
Might just have to make a spring road trip.
F-117 Nighthawk ‘Shaba’ arrives for display at Air Zoo in Michigan
After an extensive journey of traveling 2,600 miles from Tonopah Test Range in Nevada, the ‘Shaba’ fuselage arrived at the Air Zoo to a crowd of excited onlookers.
They have a few other cool planes there as well. Bob

One of these days I will get there. I drive right by it going to my sister's cottage in Cass County. We had a reunion at the Air Force Museum (Dayton, OH) eight years ago. Also. there is a small air museum at Selfridge ANGB, MI. Our guys man the C-130 that is there on static display.

I have been by there a few times myself, usually heading somewhere else with a deadline so I haven't stopped. This time it will be a dedicated trip with maybe a casino stop to keep Judy happy.😁 Bob

Been there. Well worth seeing. If you go there, be sure to go to the second building, out behind the main display one. That's where restorations are done. Deb and I walked in and, when looking at some of the works in progress, had a nice gent come up to us and explain a few of projects they had going. I remember several Packard-built Merlin engines there; one of them was a Merlin built by Continental Motors, who subcontracted out from Packard. Going back someday soon.
