Scope base

Probably a good setup if you can find the correct fit and ring height. Truthfully, I've not found a need for the high dollar mounting systems since I've not had any problems with the time proven Weaver base/ring that I've used for 50 years.

These days, every manufacturer can claim to be 'one of the best' since there is no need to justify such a claim as 'one of'. This is not being critical of Dednutz at all, merely a commentary on the state of advertising.

I've used a few of the Dednutz one piece bases/ring design. The Freedom Reaper on some PRS rifles and the Beast Reaper on a couple of rifles with substantial recoil. They all worked just fine and required very little adjustment for truing the alignment. Be sure to check you scope mounting screw holes on your receiver first to be assured that they are aligned. Originally, most scope base screws were #6-48 but modern receivers now incorporate #8-40 screws for more support. Be sure to check which size your receiver has before assembly.

The best of the best currently are the Spuhr mounts:

    Have fun!
