Curious on Popularity and Worth - PB
The PB (Pistolet Besshumnyy, also known as the Makarov PB, a Russian silent pistol. I want to sell it but have no idea the value or if it's something that people would be interested in. It's in very good shape, fires true and serial numbers match on all parts. Is there an interest and what would be a good auction estimate vs. a pawn shop? Thanks so much in advance!

What makes you say that, R-S? Yes, they call the suppressor "integral", but it's really a separate part from the pistol. And, Mr12 didn't say that he has the suppressor.
Of course, BATF would never have permitted a PB to be imported since it lacks sporting use, but one may have gotten into the country illegally. Once here, it would be legal to own except in certain states, if I am not mistaken. I'd like to hear Mark C's opinion.
I've never seen a PB, but would certainly appreciate it if Mr12 would post a photo.

The suppressor is a dead end. Class 1 SOT's can import them for sale to government entities, but it begins and ends there. Suppressors cannot be imported for retail sale, nor can they be registered by individuals. Is there an importers stamp on the pistol? Given the restrictions on the importation of ex-Soviet/current Russian firearms, I'd be inclined to steer clear of it.

Don't mean to be peeing in your Cheerios. But make sure you have capeable/reliable, criminal defense ambulance chaser, and bail bondsman. Lined up. Before going into your local funstore, with your Makarov PB.

People interested in it?
Yes, there are definitely people interested in it because they might get a bonus and possibly a promotion when they arrested you with it.
Might even make the local news. Many lesser things have.
