Haenel KK Sport
Anyone know the whereabouts of where I could locate the sights..front and rear on this old target gun?

You might have a problem? I went through my reference, "Rifles of the World", by John Walter. They have a listing for Haenel, but not for making a 22 Target rifle. Check the proof marks. One of the post W W I German commercial proof marks, is usually a 2 digit date. If it dates to the 30's? Might be one of the paramilitary training rifles that were made to circumvent the treaty of versailles?
Many different German firearms manufacturers made these training rifles. There not all the same though. The sights off a Mauser or BSF, might not be compatible with your Haenel? If it's still factory original and is VG condition or better? Might be worth a lot of Euros back in the fatherland?

Here is the description. No sights at all , don't want to ruin the old gun by putting mounts on it.

select-fire,
The most common source of older parts is the collectors of both parts and firearms. Usually there are associations which gather around the more famous firearms but there are collectors of old sights also. It might entail a tedious search and some e-mails but this is the only path I know of. Contacting the factory in Germany might get you some history but I doubt you'll find any parts from the factory. They may have contacts for the associations I mentioned though.
Last resort would be to get proper photographs and drawings then hire a good machinist or gunsmith to make a set for you. Current tang and ramp sights might be able to be modified...
Best.

This appears to be a much older rifle than I was writing about in my previous post. Probably late 19th early 20th centuries.
When the Germans surrendered in 1945. And the US occupied their sector of Germany. The German civilians were required to hand in all their sporting arms. They removed all the sights and other parts that they could, prior to this confiscation. The GI's had the pick of the litter of these confiscated guns, before the rest were destroyed. No doubt this is how your Haenel without sights made it back to the US.
If yours is in as good shape as the one shown. And you can't find sights, Still believe it would be worth a pretty penny, back in its country of origin.

Measured the dovetail on the rib and a 16mm CZ mount will attach to it... without doing much or any harm. Going that route with a vintage scope. They made a few different models , mine has a fat forearm with a place to attach a palm rest. Big cheek piece.
