Buddy only looks like that, when I have a couple Q-tips and am going to work on his ears.
It is the weirdest thing, it's like he has a 6th sense. I can go to the bathroom and get Q-tips out for my ears no problem, or any other use involving Q-tips.
If I go to the bathroom with the intention of working on him he flees. I don't know how he knows, but he knows.
Then I get "The Look." π€€

I printed off a copy and posted it on the fridge I know a few I would like to give it too but sure it tick them off but truth hurts sometimes LOL
one of the dogs we had ( RIP Betsy ) one of the best ( as all of them ) she hated her nails clipped and easy going as possible a lab mix my wife got at the shelter one year for my Christmas present but if she heard or seen a pair of nail clippers or scissors it was on . it got to the point I would just say clip clip and it was on big time , we miss her greatly
oh one more Betsy thing my youngest son had a buddy that worked at the shelter if he stopped by he was the only person she ever growled at ( besides me when toe nail clipping ) he did not work there when we got her our guess must have been the smell of the place on him when he stopped by that triggered her

Dogs do have a 6th sense about people. My late Australian Sheppard Co Co was one of the nicest family pets I've ever owned. She loved everyone in my world except for two old former friends of mine.
I said former because I trusted her judgement.
