Trijicon Service
To make a short story, long...(as is my style)
A couple years ago I sent my favorite carry gun, a Glock 29 (10mm) to Primary Machine in Morgan City, LA to mill the slide for an Trijicon RMR (Ruggedized Miniature Reflex) sight. I asked them to also install Suppressor-height sights so the red dot would co-witness the sights. PM asked me to also send the RMR so they could install it as well. I also wanted them to Cerakote the slide with a Stainless Steel look.
I have been extremely satisfied with the entire project.
Recently, when the RMR battery died I attempted to remove the Torx screws but only managed to break off the tip of my cheap tool. The tip was firmly lodged in the screw head!
I tried to drill out the tip but it was too hard for my cheap drill bits. I was almost sick to my stomach. Out of desperation I contacted Trijicon to see what they suggested.
"We have seen this before." the nice lady on the phone said, "Send it to us, we will check it out then contact you before we do anything."
A week or so later, she called to inform me they would correct the problem and return it free of charge, including the shipping. She would not accept my Credit Card number.
This was not a problem with the Trijicon sight, this was my fault for buying, then over-stressing, a cheap tool!
I want to share this with anyone that will listen. Trijicon quality is top notch and their service is outstanding.
If you have old eyes, like mine, and have not tried an RMR sight, borrow one, or buy one, or build one and try it. I think you will be amazed.

I just had to send a Type 1 rmr into Trijicon, I wasn’t sure but thought it might be flickering when running it hard.
This is a 5 year old optic- sent it in, they rebuilt it and sent it back in 3 weeks. Email updates upon receipt, after repair and once shipped (with tracking number provided).
Just dialed it in tonight and very happy with it.
Also- run a Trijicon SRO on my USPSA gun and my USPSA backup gun.

I don't know about you but my GSSF scores improved almost 100 points when I added a Trijicon to my competition G17.
I knew my eyesight was going down hill and my hands weren't steady but I didn't expect that much improvement.
Of course, that moved me into the unlimited category but my hunting and self defense capabilities improved greatly.

Trijicon is great, BUT putting one on a glock is like $3k rims on a cutlass...lol

Well some folks just can't run a Glock. It's not the gun's fault.
