Dr. Picked out her .22 for Christmas
She got online and looked at .22's. Wife decided that the Ruger was nice. Just like the 7.62x39 but in a .22. Takes 10/22 magazines. It will be here next week.

That looks like a great choice. I have 22s that cost a heck of a lot more that don't have half the features that model has. What optics will she be using? Of course we will need a range report so I hope Santa puts a brick of ammo in her Christmas stocking. Bob

I have two 10/22's .

Select-fire, I know I have 6 10-22s, but with me it is always possible there is one or two more hidden somewhere. The reason is very simple!! I love shooting 22s either rifles or handguns!! I have it set up so I can take a group shooting and we all are carrying a rifle.

I shot a coyote last yr hanging out in the yard in the daytime. He started running and the 10/22 started talking. Big mistake to run sideways across a spraying .22
