I am jealous. Too cold now for golf and just received email from my course that it will be closed Sat. and Sunday because of heavy rain.

This a course I haven't played before so I am looking forward to it. The guys I play with are all really good golfers, 2 of them are scratch golfers. I am the oldest of the bunch and they keep me on my toes.

They get a kick out of me when I take off my gun and put it in my bag.

I went to the thrift store and found a PW for $1.50. I am going to take it and "Accidentally" hit a ball in the water and throw the club in the pond. They are going to flip out.

You can keep the snow Ken. I do enjoy it but I don't want it around too much. Golfing in the fall and spring are the best. The summer is just too dang hot. I am lucky because I can usually play some in the winter too.

The golfers down in Phoenix are all wearing jackets! Usually everyone is wearing shorts and T-shirts but not this week, it chilly for them.

    Best.

Hot air must be here and not in the city. Might have been 4 inches total.

20* for 2 days. Saw 12* in Newland and it was 32* here this am. 49* now. Nice.

I'm not going to brag about not currently having any snow on the ground here in northern lower Michigan. I would surely jinx myself! 😐️

8 to 10 inches of snow and 17 to 19 degrees is the reason I live in the flatlands of nc . 58 and sunny with 1 mph breeze with 68 for tomorrow .

Hush! You surely will jinx us. I used to love snow but now we don't need any until Christmas Eve and it can go away by New Years. All the rest of the snow can stay uppa da YouPee. They like that white stuff up dere. 😁 Bob

It was a little nippy but the sun was warm. I played a good game got a birdie on all the par 5's and 2 of the par 3's. No balls in the water and I only lost one(but I found one). Had a good hotdog with chilli at the turn and drank a few beers along the way, all in all a good day.

Yeah Butchdog, it warmed up to 32° the next couple of nights after the upper teens, and got up to upper 40's as you indicated. We woke up to apprx. 4" the 1st morning, and it kept coming down all that day and overnight. I know I shoveled a dog path for Buddy on the back deck, that was every bit of 8-10".

Glad you had a good time Sam. I was just surprised you had no snow at all down your way. I guess that is why there are Ski Resorts all around here. Good Skiing also. Beech, Sugar, Hounds Ears, Wolfs Lair, etc.

Ken you're making me jealous. We were supposed to get 6-9" of snow, but we only got about 2" here in western Ohio. 4 miles north of me they got 4". I love winter and the more snow we get the more I love it.

No snow but it was cold and windy.

Saw a few turkeys on the golf course, no deer. We were out in Knightdale playing, its a nice course and rated 16th in the top 25 in NC. Greens started out fast but slowed down as the day went by. The only downside was the pace of play, we had some real slowpokes in front of us.

I came about 2 feet of holing a par 3 and had 2 eagle puts(Blew both) so it was a good time. My iron game is getting better and my driving isn't too bad not super far but straight. The best part of my game is my short game; pitching, chipping and putting are spot on. I had zero 3 putts and came out of the sand on 2 holes no problems.
