No Stimulus Money

    That is fine.

I don't think they needed to do that in the first place. A lot of people got money who were not even impacted by the closures. Like all federal, state and local government employees.

What was needed more was unemployment support for employees of the business that were shut down.

A lot of foreclosures and evictions coming eventually, people just don't have the money to pony up what has been deferred.

That will hit the banks in the shorts which will eventually require Feds to cover. Someday the piper has to get paid. Someone is going to hold the short stick.

You and I think a lot a like. Giving money to non financially impacted people, like myself, was nothing but an attempt to buy votes. It was done supposedly to stimulate spending and keep the economy going but no studies have shown that it had an impact. I have no problems with the feds aiding the state unemployment funds but that is where it should have stopped. A lot of people had less expenses these last 9 months. No expensive restaurants, less gas and wear and tear on vehicles, no theaters or shows, no bars, etc..., so why give them more money? Bob

I never really expected a second round. Heck I would have spent it on guns and ammo anyway.

I smacked a moose with my old Rover, so I spent the stimulus check putting my buddy to work. I needed fenders and a hood, so we found a set and I had him strip and fit them on the beastie. Man it felt good to hand him a stack of money. Wish I could have done more.

I smacked a deer to the tune of $9600 and I did the same thing. Couldnt even salvage enough to make a hamberger.

The friends, business interests and donors of congresscritters will get a huge pile of cash. The working class business man will get the table scraps. The State pensions will get bailed out and we the unwashed masses get left holding the wildcat in the sack, US debt.

Stimulis money goes to politicians special interests. Read up on where the biggest chunks went to.

My stimulus check is in the account our government deposited it. Come tax time it will be returned to them.

We made a couple of cash donations to local charities we support. I have stopped donating online or by check because they either sell or give our info to every money begging organization in the world! I probably have enough return mail labels to last three lifetimes, and pocket planners for next year will go in the trash. Anyone know how to stop them?

Yup, since the fix worked and got Biden in, there is no need to buy votes for another two years. Must be time for congress to take another "well deserved" break.

Yes, I had that same issue and simply called them asking to be removed from their mailing list and to not share it. Every one I tried has worked except for DISH. I just use DISH junk mail to light my trash burning fires. Let them waste their money, I will never use their product.

An acquaintance on SSDI who is in assisted care, has no bills, and has not touched money in decades. Her mom on SS & a pension plus $2M in annuities. Mom was scrabbling for every extra buck even though she's a few years from death's door. Sorta makes me nauseous when she asks for me to help her "get her money".

Rittenhouse used his stimulus money to buy his AR-15.

Which in turn helped the firearms business.

Now they are talking about giving out $600. That'll probably cover a brick of Thunderbolts at today's prices. Bob

Election is over. No need to buy votes (except in Georgia) for another 2 years.

    Oh No.

I was about to start bidding on that new gun.

Don't worry. Biden has got our back. (and Ukraine's) , Uh Oh, he said he does know know anything about Ukraine. Did you news guys say that my son works for them? That is news to me because I have not spoken to my son about his personal life or job. I've never ever heard of Ukraine.
