Love me some baby spinach"killed" like branch lettuce or even garden lettuce. Very tasty. Olive oil works very good for the purpose.

Olive oil, hum that brings up another thought, rust preventive I think.

Whatever floats your boat but your going to have to eat a lot to get the effects listed in the article for it's a concentrated ingredient in/from spinach.

Funny thing, before I got married my go-to meal was steak and an entire package of frozen spinach. My "entertainment" was all in the gym, or running. No wonder!

Popeye say, "German scientist should be banned!"

What they actually said, "Spinach chemicals should be banned from sports."

My question is, exactly what kind of sports do spinach chemicals participate in?

How would it be against any "Rules," to take a derivative (even a concentrate) of a Vegetable?

I like fresh spinich but will not go near canned. Canned spinach is like butter beans to me.

It is also overflowing with oxylates, blocking calcium metabolism. and, well it is spinach. Love it raw, hate it cooked.

I often eat spinach as a side or snack. Feeling like eating some unhealthy pizza? I'll eat a couple pizzas with spinach on the side. Going with something better like chicken or pork chops? I'll have a spinach side salad.

I like raw spinach leaves on sandwiches instead of lettuce. Subway gave me the idea and I took it home with me. Tastes better and is one of the few healthy habits I have acquired.

There was a national kinda of Italian chain in Elk River, MN, back in the 90's. Fazollis, maybe?

Anyhoots, they had a big, dinner plate sized spinach pizza pocket thing, that the wife loved. I hated cooked spinach at the time.

She who must be obeyed, finally talked me into taking a small bite.

It became my go to at that establishment. Amazing. Spinach with all the fabulous marinara sauce and cheeses, inside a pizza crust shell.

I like it any way I can get it, fresh, canned or frozen. When cooked I put a dash of butter and a splash of vinegar on it with salt and pepper. I eat the whole can or frozen box myself. You want some? Get your own. 😊

I like spinach but I prefer creasy greens or collards.

Spinach has tons of calcium, but it is bound up in oxylates, and nutritionally unavailable to humans. Oxylates are no friend of kidneys, and anyone with kidney problems should steer clear of spinach. I like it raw, not so much cooked except in spanakopeta.
