    I've had a couple. I have switched to nitecore they're quite a bit cheaper and have been very reliable

    It just so happens that I watched the youtbe vid on their 14,000 lumen (yeah. 14,000!) light yesterday. Can't imagine why anyone would need such but I'm sure there's a need or they wouldn't make them.

    (I'm looking for a light to carry on my boat. Just in case I need to dock at night.)

    Because more is better? Intense bright white light can be disorienting?

    14,000 lumens, how? The brightest LED available is the XHP50, which is 2546lm maxed out.

    Beats me. But now I see a vid review of an OLight with 25,000 lumens!
