Grandson got his first deer,,,
Not to be outdone by his lil sis, it sparked the desire to go on his first hunt. He borrowed the new 6.5 squeeze moor and went out with his dad. He got this muley buck. 200 yd. heart shot.

The "boys' went hunting this evening. Son, Grandson, and Daughter in laws' oldest Nephew finally chose a blind close enough to the travel path of the deer to get shots. After some goof ups over the past couple of days, they got a doe and fawn to cooperate and both went down. I was hoping to get some feed back on the 6.5 Grendel MSR ammo but not this time. Grandson yipped the shot and hit the spine rather than lungs. Oh well, maybe next time.
