do deer and elk die easier for women? I constantly hear people The 243 is a great gun for women to hunt deer. The 270 is a fine elk rifle for ladies. maybe some men should learn to shoot and they wouldn't need a magnum to make up for other short comings. OK I'm better now

Yes male deer are easily killed by women. How hard would it be for a good looking woman to get close enough to pretty much any man and stick a knife in his back?? Same thing with deer. There are women who actually have knife kills on deer.

All I can say is if looks could kill, I'd of been dead a long time ago! 😯

I do believe the thinking is that they will be able to handle the recoil easier but that they will have to limit their shooting distance. .243 will certainly take an elk.

In general, I think women are more likely to make sure they have a close, well-placed shot. Ever hear a woman brag about that "400 yard kill shot"?

I got my first deer, on my grandparents farm in Missouri, with a Remington Mohawk600 in .243 and fell in love with that rifle (it was borrowed). Then I got myself a Remington Mohawk600 in .308..........hence my username. Best rifle ever........but .243 is a good one too.
