Granddaughter got her first rifle,,

She took hunter safety online and passed. So excited to go hunting with her dad. Her dad is so proud and excited he went and bought her a rifle. Got her a Savage Axis XP in 6.5 Creedmoor.

    Maybe not ideal for a hunting round.......but just remember......more game animals have probably been taken in North America with a lowly .22LR than all other calibers combined.

    Well done... I'd try it on leaves first, and see how it does, and then proceed with caution...maybe try pine cones next.

    still have my 2 grandad's rifles being my first ones as a kid.....Colt lightning series and Stevens visible loader, both in 22lr......
