    the small hogs at our camp (black ones) were shot with a 350 legend on an AR platform you can see Joe holding with his black boar and he also shot some of the small pigs with a 9mm hand gun that he had on him while moving a stand

    I have not been around the other guys that got the huge brown boar they texted me the pictures it was a hour and half from our lease. So I am not sure what they shot him with but one of them usually carries a 300 WIN

    I'm planning on going back to south Arkansas this Friday to hunt any of you want to go?

    It's doe only rifle season right now in MO and I still have a antlerless tag. I've been lazy this weekend but plan to go out tomorrow. The past 3 deer were all shot in the afternoon before dusk. I hunt a couple hours in the morning and quit by 930-10. Then go out at again at 3 to 4pm.

    I'd be interested in hunting hogs with you sometime Dan.

    hogs are not game animals we can hunt them day or night no limit

    Feral hogs are not native to the United States. They are an invasive species, a public nuisance and a threat to Arkansas. They compete for food resources, destroy habitat by rooting and wallowing and will eat ground-nesting birds, eggs, fawns and young domestic livestock. They also carry up to 45 bacteria, diseases and parasites, including Trichinellosis, Brucellosis and swine herpes virus.

    I'm interested. If you're ok with it I have a friend who is semi-retired and an Afghanistan Combat Vet who could probably join us on short notice. I've shot with him and he has good safe gun handling skills - he's not going to muzzle sweep either of us.

    I don't know if the instant messenger system on here works but I will shoot you a message.

    Edit he cant go, but I'm in.

    I'm very jealous. I haven't gotten to hunt for a couple years now. Just too much going on around the farm here the last couple falls. Next year going to hit it hard though and I can't wait. It looks like y'all have a great time every year!
