Looks like it was an amazing time.

We no longer partake in Northern Minnesota deer camp with the family.

We just hunt around our house.

While easier, and a lot more deer to choose from here, it's just not the same.

    Congratulations on a successful hunt!

A lot of good eating. Makes my small bucks look pretty puny. Nice going.

There are some hunt clubs that run dogs but they are just groups getting together to lease acreage,a few will have clubhouses/ camps . Most of the hunting around me are landowners hunting their own property . I have three family farms availible .

We hunt just over 6000 acres in SW Arkansas. A game biologist told us we need to take about 60 does a year off that lease. So far, we have taken 35 bucks and 32 does. Our youth hunters hit the population pretty hard on Nov. 5-6 when we make no restrictions as to sex or buck size.

I got my normal 2 deer personal limit (we can take up to 5 deer with 2 being bucks, or 5 does). Killed a big doe on 11/17 and an 8 pointer yesterday. The processor will call me when they are ready. Both taken with my Rem. 700 in 280 using 140 gr SP, DRT, no tracking necessary.
