Hey Ken.....
I see you replied in the sleep apnea thread. How is your battle going, did you ever get your nose worked on?

Unfortunately Todd, I had to cancel my Nasal surgery. VA contacted me about 3 weeks ago, they are again contesting what I made in 2019, VS. What I had to pay "Out of Pocket." for various procedures and treatment/Healthcare, in order to "Qualify."
I have to "Prove," via paperwork my expenditures. Trying to get all that together. I canceled my Surgery as VA stated, "any treatment during the contested period, will be Out of Pocket." Could not risk them finding against me, and a 3 hour Surgery at a Private (upscale) Hospital. Prob. $30-40K.
ENT Consult confirmed, "yeah you are F'd up, and in need of surgery." In Limbo until I can get it worked out.
Still only getting a few hours sleep a night. (With) Two different doses of over the counter sleep meds. One when I go to bed, one later when I wake up after a few hours and can not sleep. My DR's will not give me any prescribed sleep meds due to confirmed Apnea, breathing issues, (my nose) and a Mitral Valve problem.
Passed a VA "Stress Test" a few weeks ago, to show I could undergo the surgery, then got the VA letter.
Like mogley, who I've been in contact with, we are both in Limbo with the same problem. (VA Qualification.)

Like mogley, I do not understand how Veterans with confirmed problems and No Healthcare, do not "Qualify," for coverage. All my VA Dr's and consults have been extremely sympathetic, but unable to alleviate the Bureaucracy.

Sorry to hear that, I hope it all works out well for you.

My Health issues are so inconsequential compared to a lot here, (MrMike, Smitty's wife (June) mogley, Dreher's Wife, Hillbille, FCD etc. etc.) I was not comfortable posting about my problem.
Those guy's all have my Prayers for Healing and Comfort.
My problems are nothing compared to what multiple Members here are going through. I am lucky.
