I have used 18 to 20 Carolina Reaper peppers placed in an empty vodka bottle, filled the bottle to the top with more vodka and let it sit for at least 90 days. I have actually had several people take a second shot!! So if you want Bloody Mary's with a kick there you go!!!! ๐Ÿ˜‚

I've infused it before with good results but rather a lengthy and involved process. Thought if you could buy a bottle already infused I'd try it.

I used to frequent a steak house in Mass. called Bugaboo Creek and they had a large glass container of sliced pineapple in vodka. I asked for a slice of the pineapple one day and man that was not good. I assume the vodka was better.

We have a distillery in Bend Oregon that infuses coffee into vodka. Itโ€™s called โ€œCoffiaโ€. It is great stuff!

It is not for chugging but is great for sipping, like an after dinner liqueur.

Not the same but, I tried to preserve chestnuts by filling a Mason jar with chestnuts then covering them with my homemade Blackberry wine.

    Ruined them both!

I had a shot of smoked salmon infused vodka once. It may have been the only time that I've found vodka drinkable!

Was given some moonshine. Had a peach in the bottom of the jar. Best part of the drink๐Ÿ˜†

My Dad had a Satsuma tree that was a vigorous producer. A few years ago I made a few gallons of Satsumacello as Christmas gifts and followed up by Satsuma Marmalade and Jelly from the fruits. Sadly that tree succumbed to Hurricane Sally this year and it will be a few years before we have a replacement. The pecans survived ok, but they are used for other things!!
