You ever shoot one of them combo guns for accuracy?

    Reason I ask is:

I've seen some combo guns that were not very consistent accurate and point of impact change with temperature.

I sold quite a few Baikal built guns years ago and they are built like tanks. I don't recall anyone ever having a problem with one. Triggers may have been a bit stiff on some but were easily cleaned up. That is about the prettiest example I have seen. I bet it goes for quite a bit more. Looks like a couple of bidders want it pretty bad. Bob

Wow!! Not really too familiar with the 7x57 cartridge, but still...Wow!

Does this fire a 7x57 mmR or a rimless 7x57 mm? Can you easily get ammo for it?

Pic of the open action shows it takes the rimless 7x57.

I've been shooting 7x57 for over thirty years. I've had many other rifles in various chamberings, but kept going back to 7x57 and 6.5x55. Both truly shine in an action strong enough to handle the pressures they deserve to be used at.

My first 7x57 was a 93 mauser and it was just O.K. In 1976 I bought a Ruger and that is when the 7x57 really started to shine. In a modern action it can be loaded to levels far surpassing the old military rounds. The factory stuff at the time was all loaded down because of all the old military surplus rifles on the market. It is an extremely capable cartridge and one of my favorites having accounted for numerous successful hunts over the years. If Bell could kill a bunch of elephants with it a hundred years ago then whitetails and muleys pose no problem. 😉 Bob

I always wanted a Baikal 12 gauge SxS with 45-70 inserts.

I just located a vendor who does 18" barrel insert for a 12 in 7.62x39
